Beyond the Guest Book

There are so many alternatives to the traditional guest book today, limited only by the imagination! Guests can now sign in on an item that has special meaning to the couple, such as a large wine bottle for the wine lovers, baseballs for the sports themed wedding or piece of cloth that will later be made into a quilt. Other fun ideas are a thumbprint tree, with each guest adding his or her thumbprint to the tree as a leaf, a wooden puzzle, with each guests signing a piece, or signing smooth rocks which can be added to a vase. Old postcards for the guests to write a message for the couple can be placed in a decorated mailbox. For the music lovers, vinyl records can serve as a keepsake sign- in. These are just a few clever and very personal ideas for sign-ins!

This is the best fingerprint guestbook I've seen yet. This tree is gorgeous, and the bride and groom put their fingerprints on the swing at the bottom. cute!Wooden Monogram as a Guest Book -- Great idea! You can later hang it in your home. :)LOVE THIS IDEA! guests at wedding were given postcards with the bride and groom's address printed on the back to fill with good wishes during the reception and drop in a copper mailbox displayed in the lobby. The cards are to be mailed the next day by a friend of the couple so that the newlyweds will return from their honeymoon to a brimming mailbox.Sign in with Rocks... write best wishes to be saved in a vase... also great idea to write favorite short quotes or things that make you smile... to set on family room coffee table and browse through on days you need a boost or prompt great discussions...have guests sign wine corks - perfect for wine lovers!wedding puzzle guest bookvinyl records, an alternative to a guest book. #weddinginstead of a guest book, sign baseballs! #sports themed #weddingwedding guest sign in quiltPhotograph Mat For Guest Sign
