Frou Frou Chic

Frou Frou Chic

Every bride should find a way to bring the heavenly ribbon from Frou Frou Chic into her wedding! Hand-dyed in France and made from natural silk fabric, this ribbon is the ultimate in beauty and feel. The edges are frayed and torn to create a very luxurious feel.
As the owner states, "Working with our hands, we aspire to create something as beautiful and sensuous as is possible." And with names like "ballerne", "menthe" and "lanvande" they promise to make any wedding that much more beautiful and well, chic!

Farm Tables

Farm tables give such warmth and charm to a reception! A long farm table can seat many guests and helps create a family-style feeling. Floral table runners, spilling down the length of the table, are especially lovely. Add in a mixture of candles such as votives, tabors, or pillars and nothing could be  more breathtaking!

A Perfect Gift

What to give a bride that is both special and needed? Why not put together a notebook of favorite recipes? Any bride (or groom!) would appreciate having a little help in preparing easy meals and getting to enjoy all those wonderful kitchen items they are sure to receive as gifts. The notebook could also include short side stories about where the recipe came from or whose favorite it might be in your family. Include photos too for inspiration!

The Bookish Bride

The bride who loves books can easily incorporate that interest into her wedding. Set centerpieces on stacks of books of different heights at each table. Instead of table numbers, have a beautifully lettered name of a favorite book. At the entrance to the reception place a  large hand-drawn book on an easel as a seating chart. To complete the book theme, why not have the celebration in a library?
