Croquembouche

Croquembouche

Croquembouche is a French wedding cake constructed of  cream puffs and held together with spun sugar. The cream puffs are assembled into a tower and are often accented with almonds and flowers. The French have used the croquembouche for centuries in weddings, christenings and celebrations and it is now becoming a popular alternative to the traditional wedding cake. It is a beautiful creation as well as delicious to eat!
