The French word ombre is defined as color that is shaded or graduated in tone. Ombre has become a new wedding trend seen in every part of wedding decor and fashion. Using any one color, a bridesmaid's dress can go from the lightest hue and gradually become darker. A carpet of rose petals can be strewn down the aisle in the palest of pinks ending in the deepest of pinks. Centerpieces can be constructed with a graduation of the color of the flowers to stunning effect. There is no limit to how or where to use ombre in weddings.
