Sarah and Alex's Wedding--Chandor Gardens

What a beautiful, perfect summer wedding in the historical Chandor Gardens in Weatherford! Sarah chose a bird theme which was carried out in the wedding decor with charming birdhouses, nests, fauxe eggs and miniature birds. A rustic garden feel  was seen in the mason jar centerpieces filled with garden roses and seeded eucalyptus and tied with burlap. Sarah crowned her cake with two adorable burlap birds and more birds could be found on the bountiful buffet table set with light summer fare. The vintage desk turned guest table was paired with painted crates stacked with jars of  homemade peach jelly -- a summer time favor for guests to enjoy! As guests strolled throughout the gardens after the ceremony they could stop at the "Tea and Scones" table for iced tea and delicious cinnamon scones. Sarah used made thoughtful use of her programs. As each guests arrived they were handed a small fan on which  the wedding program was printed, of course adorned with birds!
Adding to the charm of the evening hundreds of white twinkle light sparkled from the trees. When Sarah and Alex were making their exit, a white, horse drawn carriage with lanterns and the "Just Married" sign appeared to whisk them away. A perfect end to a magical, memorable night! Good luck Sarah and Alex!
