Welcome Baskets
A very thoughtful gesture from a couple to their guests is in preparing a welcome basket or bag upon their arrival to the wedding festivities. The basket should be created with the style, location and colors of the wedding in mind. It should contain information that the guests will need for the day or days they will be at the destination, such as a map of the area, contact numbers of people in the wedding party, and suggestions of restaurants that are close by. If there are interesting, fun places to visit in the area these can be included as well to give guests options of activities. Other items such as bottled water, snacks or a specialty item of the area can be included. One city may be known for its pecan pralines, another for its salt water taffy or be famous for its chocolate. Guests will be delighted to find a basket prepared just for them to enjoy when they arrive!
