Jewish Weddings

One of the most prominent Jewish wedding traditions is to be married under a chuppah. This is an open canopy supported by four poles that can be very simple or decorated and symbolizes the open tent of biblical couple Abraham and Sarah. It is, according to Jewish Wedding Network, the first roof a husband and wife share and its openness symbolizes the hospitality of their home to guests.
