When planning a wedding it is a thoughtful gesture to remember that out-of-town guests may need help navigating the various wedding locations and to provide them with a map. Wedding maps can be hand-drawn, watercolored and whimsical, showing guests the landmarks of the area, street names and the route to the celebrations. It is especially helpful to guests when attending a destination wedding to provide a map in a welcome bag when they arrive. The map could also include recommended restaurants or attractions that they might enjoy at the location. Maps can also be given as a save-the date, which lets the guests know where they will be traveling.
